Still, on my X-Force kick and knocked out a Warpath redesign for tonight’s sketch. I really like the costume from the old issues, and really don’t care for what he looks like now. So I struggled with the thought of changing it, but I wanted a real mean Native American fighter.
Here are some photos from my photoshoot this morning, I still have 5 other people to run through, but it is always a great time watching the light, and seeing where the light bounces in the subject’s eyes.
Here is my continuation of redesigning some of the X-Force characters. I wanted to test out the regular pencil that is stock with photoshop and actually like it quite a bit. I have never really tried the standard photoshop brushes.
Whipped up Boom Boom tonight, I hate hearing that term thought lol. Not much really changed on this one, just the hair cut. Oh and I forgot the necklace… The drawing looks goofy, but just a doodle for me to reference from.
I have been noticing the light hitting the wall before sunset and love how it colors the studio. Here’s a look at my current setup. I am still considering what else I should acquire to make it space which I never leave. When I was remodeling this area, I thought of all the desks, and tools I needed to function quickly. So everything I really need is arms reach away.
I was reading the old X-force #1 and thought how fun a book that was back in the 90′s. I wanted to give the book my own spin and decided to draw Cable for the first character design. I think I will go through the rest of the characters and do my own take. Then possibly redo the issue for fun.
This version of Cable isn’t big enough in my opinion. But I wanted to use some of the modern tech such as a gun strapped to the chest. I should of also added more pouches but this will do for now.
